wine producers and sample the award winning chardonnays, rieslings,
pinot noirs and dessert wines while discussing the complexities of
the regional varieties.

available in the wine marquee is the chance to taste well matured
cheeses, the perfect accompaniment when having a glass of
wine.
Wood
chop - The wood chop and tree
felling attracts many competitors from all over Australia,
including state and Australian champions. Every year at
least one Victorian title is contested at the Wood, Wine
& Roses Festival. This event is rated as one of the best
country Victorian wood chops.
Motor
Cross - Witness a group of skilled
riders perform for the festival crowd, showing their experiences
and awesome abilities. This event is a must see for all motor
bike enthusiasts.
Lawn Mower
Racing - (first introduced in 1999).
See the dirt fly as Heywood hosts the first round of the
point system championship races on a purpose built course
which offers plenty of challenges for the drivers.
