The Fender Benders first formed in 1998 as a 5 piece 50’s & 60’s rock & roll band. Playing mainly commercial rock & roll, they honed their craft in pubs and dance halls all around metropolitan Melbourne.

As their reputation grew, they moved out to regional areas playing festivals, hot rod shows and the like. In this time they were lucky enough to support some well known Australian artists and begin playing in other states.

For the last 9 years, The Fenders Benders has been a 3 piece outfit. The music has changed to incorporate, rockabilly, country rock, swing and jump blues as well as the standards people love.

They are predominantly a dance band promising to keep the toes tapping and the feet shuffling to every song. With James on guitar and vocals, Terry on bass and backing vocals and Pete on drums, you are promised a night of great music, dancing and a few laughs!
